Barvinok Ensemble

The Barvinok Ensemble currently has 28 dancers, ranging in age from 18 to 27 years. Each of these dedicated dancers has been dancing for at least five years. Some started their dance careers with Barvinok at the young age of five. Others have joined us from other dance organizations.

The majority of the dancers are students pursuing post-secondary education. Some travel back to town on weekends just to attend practices. They receive no pay for their efforts, but dance merely for the love of dance. The Barvinok Ensemble rehearses 3 hours per week, with extra time needed in preparation for special performances.

Their dedication and love of dance create a vibrant, energy-filled performance on stage. We are very proud of their accomplishments and we thank them for their love of dance.
